The Governor and Lt. Gov or Mass want Kerry to resign his post as Senator. This poll asks if he should resign or is this just a political ploy.

6. If I were Kerry...

I'd go to the press and say something like, "some Republicans in the Massachusetts statehouse want me to resign the Senate. Nice try. Tell you what; if I get to name my own successor I might consider it, but as it stands, I represent Massachusetts better from the campaign trail than anyone Mitt Romney might appoint to replace me would if he showed up every day in Washington."
