Idea for all DU musicians: Free cover at your gig with a F 911 stub!
I bet there are a lot of musicians here--we should try to put together some local stuff!

I'm in Chicago, by the way. Musicians of all genres, unite!

the filmmaker, distributor, etc. make the $

and you give away the covers? you take a loss for what reason? the film isn't going to need help selling tickets.

charge a cover and donate to moveon or BBV or whatever but, this makes no sense to me...

That bears thinking about. Okay, well, then, why not do a benefit for one of the aforementioned nonprofits, but give something for the stubs--a drink or something?
