Bush registers record disapproval rating in latest Fox poll
Approve - 57% (down 2 points)

Disapprove - 34% (highest since taking office)

6. He is on the defensive....
That's why he was out in CA attempting to rally the Marines and preserve his good standing with the military. I thought his reception was rather cool...maybe that is why he was wearing that military jacket in that hot weather??

8. My daddy...
My daddy voted for Bush 'cause "he seems like a nice guy." (My sister and I nearly disowned him when he made that comment because he was always a dem until an xtian church cult group got its hands on him and his second wife.)

But the tune has changed since my two half-brothers joined the Army. And now we're all scared, waiting for them to be sent to Iraq. I hope it never happens but, admittedly, it has been a huge wake-up call for dad.

9. My theory is that Fox poll approval numbers are Farhenheit...

Actual approval is Celsius:

To convert, subtract 30 and divide by 2.

Therefore Actual approval = (57%-30)/2 or 13.5%

On the other hand, Fox disapproval is Celsius and Actual is Farhenheit:

Therefore Actual disapproval = (34%*2)+ 30 = 98%

QED!
