Need help finding some information

I would greatly appreciate some help in finding a website that details the number of international terrorist incidents going back at least to the early 90's and preferably with up to date statistics regarding the last few years. I've already searched for it myself but have had no luck, but I know it must be out there somewhere. It's for a research paper I'm writing in an English class. Thanks in advance.

Terrorism, in many forms, has been with us for a long, long time. We've only recently come to describe it as terrorism. The French have been dealing with it because of Algeria since the `50s. The English, because of the IRA, since the retention of northern Ireland upon Irish freedom.

But, if I had to mark the official debut of international terrorism, it would probably be the killing of Israeli athletes at the Olympics by the PLO in 1972.
