Does Arnold Really Matter?
Yesterday I was at a Barnes and Noble and saw a book entitled "Why Arnold Matters?" I have decided to ask DUer what they think. Does Arnold really matter? In my opinion he does not really matter. I think this book and all the media praise Arnold gets is just an effort to scare Democrats. I think this is an effort to stop Democrats from standing up to Arnold. If the Democrats do not stand up to him he'll get everything he wants. This is an effort to scare Democrats into submission. I think alot of the things Schwarnagger wants are the things big corporations want. So in order to get these things they have to make Schwarnagger seem more important than he is so Democrats will fear standing up to him in that they think his support can guarantee them a win and his disappoval can guarantee them a loss. I think if Democrats just stand up to Schwarnagger and not pay more attention to him than is necessary we will see that he is not that important.

2. Yup
I think Maria is in charge. And if Arnold wants to be popular, he will tell the FERC to go **** themselves. I don't see Arnold campaigning much for Dubya, but I could be wrong.

3. Arnold has ushered the old boys network back in
California politics progressed over the past 20 years and women and minorities had a more equal role in decisionmaking. Arnold, with his cigar smoking tent, steak dinners, and sexual harrassment has allowed the 'boys' to dominate again. Old time male Dem politicians and reporters are enjoying the return of the old culture that they are most comfortable in. Arnold matters a great deal.

5. He will be stumping for the wimp chimp, he owes him.
This guy got in office through a puke/enron take over, he has not answered any of the multiple complaints against him from a group of women, and if you think his stepford wife (Dem or not) is running things think about any control freak allowing someone else to be in charge. Didn't we have another actor turned pol come out of cal? We really need to get this weight lifting fraud out of there.
