Believe it or not....turn on FOX
Edited on Fri Aug-15-03 07:16 PM by finecraft
Never thought I would see this....Greg Palast and Bill Richardson on O'Reilly...and O'Reilly is agreeing with them!!! Oh My God!!! The end IS near!!!
On edit....Bill Richardson talking about us being a third world country concerning our infrastructure. Palast talking about how the BFEE sold us out....stuff from his article today. Not one "SHUT UP" uttered throughout the whole segment!!

2. Look for O'Really
To begin repositioning himself as a centrist or even moderate liberal over the next year and a half. he sees the writing on the wall and does not wish to become irrelevant when the neo-cons get flushed.

5. Good answer!
You can bet that O'Reilly will be giving lessons to chameleons when it all shakes out.

Fair and Balanced minds want to know.

I thought I was high
I had had a few beers at a picnic just before going home and seeing O'Reilly banging the drum against deregulation with Palast and Richardson. Something's going on.

9. I heard O'reilly today on the radio
He was on the news station I was listening to on my portable radio. I didn't know it was him at first. I was listening to this guy mercilessly slamming the admin saying Bush is not a leader and showed no sense of urgency in his speech about the BO. I was agreeing with everything he said and then, much to my surprise, the interviewer thanked none other than Bill O'Reilly and asked people to turn into his show tonight on Fox. My jaw hit the floor.

11. O'Reilly
is an entertainer, not a political analyst, he will swing to whatever area of thought gets him the most listeners/viewers. if he sees the support of the right eroding, or the numbers on the right eroding and moving lett, he will move left.

"fair and balanced" is more like "what do the people want to be entertained" :)

10. O'Bully lost a bundle in the stock market
And since eveything is all about Bill, he still goes after Enron types. His heart is no less shriveled because of that.

12. The most powerful argument against a conservative
is that their system simply doesn't work. Use Enron as an example: they got their unregulated dream and it inevitably imploded due to human greed. Couple this with the statement that only people of extreme wealth are buffered against downturns in this society, and you'll hear the gears turn. Only cowards, bullies and fools don't want to submit to some regulation.

Society IS regulation; that's what got us out of the caves.

13. O'Reilly is bashing Homeland Security -- you just gotta

love it! I guess this is the re-run of the show you're talking about, though I can't tell yet, having just clicked it on and seen the part with the terrorism consultant (or whatever he was called.) Now waiting through commercials.

14. When I watched the Richardson/Palast segment
Richardson came off like a complete idiot, IMO.

This is the first time I've seen him though, so maybe I'm wrong.

15. Great segment.
O'Reilly finally acting like what he always says he is...advocate for the little guy. Last time he did this was just after 9-11.

Richardson actually seemed reasonably intelligent. I think Palast is great but he didn't need to slam Richardson. Anyway, bring 'em on! The more the merrier.

Anyway, I hope people see this and compare Palast (or even O-Reilly!) with the lame-ass performance of *.

I also got a huge kick out of dumbass Hannity decrying all the Bush-bashing by Democrats. Starting with Hillary, first time I cheered for her in a while.

Pataki and Bloomberg looking like idiots. :D

16. you lie like a rug
O'Really would never let Palast get three words in a row out of his pie hole without a shut up.

Sorry I missed it.
