NY Blackout: Enronomics bites the country in the ass...AGAIN
Yep, Enronomics has reared its ugly face again in the form of a blackout that affected quite possibly one sixth of the population of the United States.

California is still suffering from the effects of Enronomics. The Enronomy in California will take another $65 million bite out of the California state budget in the form of a recall election planned and executed by Kenny Boy Lay beginning in 2001. Ahnuld was a party to the planning and it most certainly had Dick (Head) Cheney's belssing.

And let's not discount the effect practicing Enronoimcs has had on the entire United States. Jobless recovery my ass. Enronomics has resulted in the first administration since Herbert Hoover with a net loss in jobs.

And we can even look deeper and find other effects from the practice of Enronomics. How about the Iraq war? That's definitely Enronomics on a grand scale. $40 billion each month coming from the little people (aka American tax payers) and going to the big people (Halliburton).

There are other words we could use besides Enronomics. How about "Reverse Robin Hoodwinking" or maybe BOHICA (I'll let the veterans explain that one). One could even just say we're getting a royal screwing.

When you come down to it, it's still the Enronomy, STUPID.

2. Cheney's Energy Policy
Cheney won the right to withhold the names of people who attended meetings on national energy policy. Perhaps now he'll tell us not only who was there but also what they talked about. California's troubles are all artificially created because of Cheney's greedy cronies, and the Northeast endures another colossal blackout.

What is Cheney's energy policy? To hell with the little guy?

4. Bingo! That energy meeting gets interestinger and interestinger
This was the energy admin. Their #1 priority was energy policy and they had this super duper secret meeting about it that they won't discuss. Since then we've had the Cali energy crisis, Enron, an oil war and now the biggest BO in history. I see a pattern here. Either their policy fails more miserably than any policy in history, or it's going as planned...Which is worse?

6. Yep, all we have are conspiracy theories
It's a given FACT there was a conspiracy. We know the meetings happened. We know who was there. All we can do, however, is theorize about the particulars of the conspiracy.

5. I was listening to Reich Wing Radio

today and they were blaming Environmentalists for the blackout and they were pushing
for drilling Anwar.

IÕm glad Hillary is talking about Enronomics, but Dems need to come out and force the
media to focus on that more and less on Kobe.

8. two years ago
NY's looming energy crisis was buried along with Enron while everyone was told to blame Davis. It was all in print. Nothing was done because their chief exploiter Ken Lay deep-sixed the scam. Still, the mess has been allowed to lay around showing all public concern by Pataki or Bush for energy, homeland security, anything, anything at all besides their own personal ends, is bogus 110%.
