Why are the "conservos" so 'generous' to the poor "Eye-rackees"?
Every time I hear a call in show, the repubes are sooooooo sad for the poor Iraqi people, and yet in the next breath, they are eternally grateful to * for "taking it TO them", and suggest that he BOMB the S#$t out of the place.. What a dichotomy.. They "feel" such sympathy, yet do we think they would actually open their homes to some poor Iraqi people who managed to escape the madness, and come to the US??

The repubes cannot seem to figure out just what they want.. Bomb the place...level it...make it a parking lot...turn the sand to glass.. these are all statements that I have heard....

How can they hold such diverse goals??

What I think is really happening is just the same old "code-speak".. They "want" others to believe that they are compassionate people, when they are really just as bloodthirsty as they have ever been....as long as it's someone else's blood that's spilled..

It amazes me as well, that they are the same people who are eveready to cut benefits to poor people here in the US, and yet seem perfectly willing to load on the debt that everyone's kids and grandkids will have to pay,to send it to hallliburton/bechtel/kellogg-brown-root, and so many other companies..

These "fiscal conservatives" do not seem to mind busting the budget if it involves killing..:(

1. Remember that Top 25 Signs (You Might Be A Republican)?
It fits with your premise.

Example: The United States should get out of the United Nations, but our highest national priority is enforcing UN resolutions against Iraq.

Here's the list: http://tinyurl.com/29w48

3. They really want to...
... help the Iraqis, and if they can make a few million $ in the process well that would be ok.

4. Think billions....
That Iraqi oil is generating about $100 million a day. And, as has been pointed out recently, the accounting is very, very "loose."
