U.S Military destroys Babylon!!! Literally!

Camp Alpha, a U.S. military base in Iraq, was built directly on top of the ancient temple area of Babylon. The base's location was chosen to protect the archeological site from looters. Instead, the base has resulted in damage that some antiquities experts characterize as "horrifying."

SH did it way before we did. They will have excuses, but there is no excuse for this war and the death and destruction.

(That is only one of 14 base sites - that are being constructed by (or improved?) in Iraq. We never intend to leave, there will be 14 bases there and our troops will always be there and we will watch the oil and will maintain "a presence" in the ME and the villagers will be grateful and give us flowers and hug our necks...

different post. I had mentioned the destruction of Babylon and was challenged on it. In response I provided links to the AP story that I had read earlier this month on Camp A and the destruction. This is a new link and I thank you for it. Forgive the sarcasm in my earlier post.

depressing story. Then I turned on the TV and found out how many have died and been maimed today in the attacks by Iraqi "insurgents" (says CNN)/ "terrorists" (says Fox). And we're supposed to "turn over" Iraq in 6 days?

Then I turned on one of the holy-roller programs I watch for entertainment (and to keep an eye on the enemy). Billye Brim was telling us how prophecy indicates that The Beast of Revelations is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY the "New Roman Empire," which she says is the European Union. She was assuring European Christians they must pray to hold back this antichrist (and pretend they're just not part of their governments) but that they'll be taken up in the Rapture before the shit hits the fan.

She also said that the EU has declared itself anti-American, and has launched a spy satellite that is jamming America's frequencies.

I think I may go back to bed.

The story about archealogists going in to inspect the site was all in the news last week. Funny how none of the same news sources are carrying the findings of that inspection.
