Here in East San Diego County, some stations are up to $2.15/gallon. For regular unleaded.

27. just question on Marshfield
I went through Marshfield a couple of weeks ago on my way to Lublin. EWvery single gas station has the same price. To the penny! Was this unusual or do they seem to ...emm...corordinate prices there? I found the same thing in Barabo and several other small towns.

Just asking.

17. Gas at any price???
Just received word from son in Phoenix that he has been unable to get gas due to gas stations are closing because they are not receiving any so you maybe one of the lucky areas that can get gas for any price.

19. Down to about $US2.60 gal here.....
......in rural Tasmania. (Australia)......at current exchange rate.

Two months ago we were paying nearly $3.00.

Yes, we do gasp when we see US motorists whingeing about paying $2........esp when you realise it's US demand that's the main factor effecting prices for the rest of us.

it is much more, 10 to 15 cents more a gallon in the poor sections of town. The $1.43 is in the white suburbs.

23. $1.69 low, $1.99 high
Prices for regular unleaded near Seattle. Huge variation in prices, much more so than usual.

Last weekend's range was $1.49 to $1.73. Today is the first day in a week prices haven't gone up -- some stations were raising prices twice a day last week.

Actually, I've got a new Volvo wagon, which isn't too bad in the mileage and emissions department.

But cripes, by the time you've filled up, your budget is trashed. And I'm not driving as much whenever possible now.
