What are "Arnold's" policies on welfare, poor children's programs (health care and lunch programs,) day care centers, the de-regulation of power companies, able to charge us anything they want, as Enron did? What is Arnold's position on gun control, over crowded jails, air and water quality in our state? How will he get roads and highways and other infrastructures rebuilt, where will the funding come from? The funding of education, what are Arnold's idea's? The immigation problem in CA is a major concern...how will he create more jobs and deal with unemployment, I've heard nothing about his positions on minimum wage, medical insurance, mass tranit, property taxes...the protection of our coastline and waterways desert, mountains and farmland. over population in the state? What are “Arnold’s” thoughts on taxes, senior citizen growing population, where is funding going to come from? How will Arnold make up for the shrinking federal funds brought on by Bush's recession? What's Arnold's position on alterative energy, will he let the oil companies run wild????

This goes for vote Cruz ballonheads as well!

Opening California to the kind of "election" (can we legitimately even really call them that anymore, so predetrmined are the outcomes?) malfeasance to Charles Kane and the rest of the ex-spook Bushevik "Army".

Undoubtedly Ahnold will be beholden to his Party, and I have no doubt that Rove is helping tremendously, but keeping the lid on it. So when Uncle Karl calls Ahnold to ask for a favor (and for the good of National Security, naturally) he will get it.

Perhaps Charles Kane will have two unsupervised weeks with the California Voter Database as he did during the Bloodless Coup of 2000 with the Florida Voter Database.

This whole recall was brought on by a rich republican (with absolutely huge Rove and White House behind the scenes manipulation and support.) Republicans who did not like the outcome of the last election ten month's ago...

Rove thought they damaged Gray Davis enough to slide Republican Simon right on by us...with so called "Gray-out pushed everyday by Limbaugh, holding back of federal funds, taking away the Colorado river, etc. etc... anything to ruin Davis and these ballonheads are falling for it.

but, when Davis won by 5 1/2 points over Simon...the Republicans buy a recall, that will be lucky to get 40% of voters to the booth and the winner might be governor with 15% of the vote...this is fascist Republican politics that is being forced on us each day...little by little, bit by bit, chip by chip...

Now they sre getting what they want a foot in the door in California for Bush 2004...(remember Davis was a huge help in getting Gore an over eleven point win over Bush in 2000...and Gore didn't have to spend a dime in CA...now Rove is getting his slimy payback!)

If you're compiling a list of public figures even less popular in California than Gray Davis, one name is likely to top it: former Enron chairman Kenneth "Kenny Boy" Lay. Voters in the Golden State are behaving like sheep these days, but even the dimmest of them can probably remember how Enron and the other corporate vultures descended on them during the electricity "crisis" of 2001.

What California voters may no longer remember, however, is that after the third wave of rolling blackouts hit their state, Kenny Boy quietly summoned a select group to the Beverly Hills Hotel on May 11, 2001. And they may also have forgotten that one of the prominent Republicans who showed up at Lay's request was Arnold Schwarzenegger.

On June 21, 2001, the Associated Press reported that "Lay met secretly with California Republicans at the Beverly Hills Hotel and pushed a plan that called for ratepayers to pay the billions in debt racked up by the state's public utilities. The plan contended that federal investigations of price gouging are hindering the situation." According to William Bradley, the L.A. Weekly's sharp political columnist who wrote about Enron for the American Prospect, the meeting revolved around Lay's plans to "preserve deregulation" in California. The L.A. Times noted that Lay was seeking the support of Schwarzenegger and the other GOP luminaries for even greater deregulation. Apparently Lay wanted help in saving a lousy system, squeezing the unfortunate Californians even more, and avoiding accountability for their plight.

Only those who were present -- including then-Mayor Richard Riordan and convicted junk-bond fraudster Michael Milken -- know exactly what happened at Lay's covert conference.

You raise important issues. It's amazing how many votes Arnold has won on name-recognition alone. Yet, we know close to nothing about his stance on the issues.

We do know that he is a close friend of the Bush family, which is all we really need to know.

publicity machine. I mean the only place I have seen Arnie criticized as a candidate is on DU. Why isn't the Party getting ads on that enumerate what he stands for, like being an anti-environmentalist (he gets funds for his after school program from Humvee) comes to the top of my head.

The DNC's PR department must not exist.

Or else, they really really suck.

I'm no....uh...<insert big PR guy/gal name here>, but dang, if I did this kind of work in my PR classes, I'd have failed.

Absolutely abysmal, terrible work.

Kind of how I feel about Bush* and the entire Republican party. I would vote for Carrottop before any Republican at this stage.
