DVD Ripper/Burner for Mac OS X?
Just switched to emac from pc.

I would like to rip and burn DVDs.

Anybody know of any freeware/fully functional shareware for doing this on Macs?

1. Go to
www.versiontracker.com

Click on the Mac OSX tab and do a search. You'll get several options.

3. if you're into the command line...
you could check out the cdrtools suite. It's a bunch of Unix programs, but should work with OS X, since it's based on bsd.

Which you can get from macupdate.com- This is a ripper, Toast is a great and essential burner, but it is not a ripper. Also see dvd2one.com for DVD2oneX (not free) to make dual-layer DVD's fit on a DVD-R. Last but not least, see dvdrhelp.com.

I can "back-up" any DVD with the above tools!!
