the total subjugation and humiliation of the populace. much like what we did to the navajos, crows, apaches and all indiginous people.
this is what we do in panama, el salvador, afghanistan, viet nam, every corner of the world will soon see this image repeated in some form. see the fear and hatred in their eyes? and we expect them to love us and greet us with flowers? sick sick sick

1. I've been deeply troubled by others...

It seems that every time our soldiers 'raid' an Iraqi home, they drag out the males, blindfold them, tie their hands behind their backs, and force them to either kneel or lie face down in the dirt. This is terribly humiliating to these people. Why do they do this when the vast majority are released later for having done no wrong?

And something in mind keeps saying 'We'll see the same thing here soon as Bush & Co. search out dissenters.'

we are invading their country for the purpose of occupying it and stealing the natural resources. Since men are the traditional fighters, we are systematically rounding up all the able-bodied men (all "Saddam loyalists", of course :eyes: ) so that they cannot defend their HOMELAND against us. It will be easier for our heavily-armed military to keep the people there under control, once the men are gone, and the women and children are left to fend for themselves...

subjugating the populace, indeed

3. Just think...probably before that picture was snapped

neither of those two boys had ever seriously considered strapping on an exploding corset. The odds of that happening now have been increased dramatically. Hearts and minds my ass.
