Monsanto Corp. beats up little guy...
They are now going after a dairy in Maine for advertising that they don't use growth hormones in the cows that produce the milk? There is really something wrong here guys. Monsanto Inc. needs some serious research here. They need to be hit. Hard.

1. Just finished the Monsanto section in Palast's book
Seriously, if you haven't read "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy," go out right this minute and get a copy. If you're too heavily invested in creating new jobs with your Bush tax cut, reserve a copy at the library!

While I sometimes find it difficult to pick one corporation as the Evillest Mofos Of All Time, Monsanto is consistently in the Final Four.

2. Yeah I saw this true
What's not being reported is that the Monsanto Corporation is actually a front for super intelligent cows who are trying to spread their intelligence enhancing chemicals through this bovine growth hormone. In that manner soon all the cattle in America and throughout the world will rise up and take control. I mean your average cow weighs between 1,000 to 1,500 pounds, and your average human between 160 and 260? I don't know, they might have the edge on us.

Actually I don't want to make light of this subject because the Monsanto corporation is really acting terribly in this situation. I hope the small farmers can hold out--is there a site one can contribute to thier legal defense fund?

3. It is ideologically incorrect
...to suggest that people might possibly prefer to eat food that hasn't been drastically 'modified'.

4. Monsanto wants to control all food production
If you thing energy cartels are bad, wait till Monsanto has the deeds to all the family farms via their lawsuits. It their modified grain fall off a truck, blows into your field and germinates, they go after you for patent violations.

They are getting heavy into farming in Africa from what I have read. Farmers generally save seed to plant but they get sued if they do it with Monsanto seed. Seed is expensive and poor farmers do not need that sort of burden.

And how are we all gonna fair when water sources and delivery systems are all privatized? Which DUer was it who used the term Global Fuedalists for these corporate pirates? It is a very good term. They are taking over the world and we are all under the lash.
