To all of those who think we need a "Moderate" (and I use that term VERY lightly here) like Lieberman....saying "there's no way America will vote for someone as liberal as Dean/Kucinich/Braun/Sharpton (or even Kerry)"
Keep in mind we played by your rules, DLC. In 2002 every Dem ran as a moderate or conservative, often playing themselves as "oh look how conservative I am!"
And look where THAT got us. You want to lose 2004? Put in a DLC'er. You want to win, give the voters someone to get fired up about. Clinton was that man in 92, I personally believe Dean is that man today. However I have met just as many 'on-fire' types when it comes to Kucinich. I haven't met any Braun or Sharpton supporters, but from the blogs I assume they're on fire too.
Kerry? I never really thought he had much charisma, but a lot of the Kerry supporters here seem to be building that passion. It all depends on how much he can distance himself from the DLC in my opinion. But that's just one mans opinion really.
