Poll question: DU Poll: Which BushCo event is most traitorous?
Edited on Thu Aug-21-03 09:40 PM by TruthIsAll
As far as I am concerned, they are all impeachable.

But that won't happen until Bush takes the sock out of his crotch and Ann Coulter goes to work.

2. You forgot one:

" I George W. Bush, do solemnly swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, so help me God."

I think this is an impeachable offense.

3. Strange Results???
I guess 911 is 'still' part of the national consciousness and 'dead arabs', complete foreign and domestic policy breakdown, corporate looting...
Lots of work to do on this subject...

4. Well, not much of a tough choice there
Assuming everything on there is true (And I believe it is, but that doesn't mean everyone will) then there is no doubt in my mind that 9/11 is the worst offense.
Actually, 9/11 is what allows everything else.

Its disgusting.

The interesting thing here is, each of these is horrible and should be impeachable. But put them all together, and what do you get?
I would typically say an arrest, conviction, life sentence.

But somehow it gives you someone who is revered as the greatest president of all time, a man of upstanding character and moral clarity.

The world is really screwed up.

5. Wish there was an "all of the above," as well.
It's mind-boggling that with a list like that, public opinion (acording to the pollsters) in favor of Bush isn't hovering around the 3% level.

That opinion is as high as it is makes for quite a testament to the power of image over substance.

8.  I would like to have seen
"Not showing up for work" as one of the options.

Bush has spent 250 days (27%) of his presidency on vacation. How many other professions can you name that get that much paid vacation time. As one of his employers, I say fire him.

10. I chose 9/11...
but "getting out of bed in the morning" is the most treasonous thing he does.

Bush gets up in the morning and the treason just starts flowing. Bush probably drinks Cuban coffee and smokes Cuban cigars (providing Aid and Comfort to the Enemy), then wipes his ass on toilet paper imprinted with the Constitution. Then he spends four hours dismantling the Constitution before repairing to his private room for a lengthy session with Miss Pac-Man. Then he puts away a fifth of Havana Club rum before heading upstairs for the night.

14. I chose the election scandal
This was the start of the problem, and makes a total mockery of the concept of democracy. As far as I'm concerned, the guy is a cheat and a liar, and has been since the Selection. Who in their right mind could trust anything he says or does after that?

If conspiracy theories abound regarding the * government, then the stolen election is their root and the justifiable basis for our complete mistrust.
