Gore’s new role is old standard

Former Vice President Al Gore’s New York speech attacking the Bush administration last week is being taken as a signal that he intends to follow in the footsteps of Adlai Stevenson and William Jennings Bryan and become the standard-bearer of the Democratic Party.

By both ruling himself out of contention in the 2004 presidential race — from which he withdrew last December — and at the same time presenting himself as the authoritative voice of opposition, Gore is aggressively reviving a political role that faded out of fashion in the ’60s.

Be our standard-bearer. If Gore and Clinton would just start telling the truth and telling it like it is, we could take our country back. We must keep in mind, always, that Gore won the popular vote and he can do it again for a Dem candidate.

I listened to our true President in exile, give that wonderful speech .It was easy to understand , it was based in fact . Yet the mainstream media mostly ignored the content of the speech .Sure they mentioned him giving the speech ,however its the content that was important, he laid it,out exactly whats been going on ,yet the public has been fed so much propaganda thru our bought and paid for media , the con continues ,the pockets of the connected are getting bigger and bigger with our tax money as this corrupt group continues its rape of our country. Imagine the back slapping and laughing going on behind closed doors down in Crawford. They are probably amazed how easy its been to pull the wool over the eyes of the American public. When I see polls showing that most still support this pResident and this bogus war , it makes my blood boil ! Still wishing it was Gore in 2004 !!!

when bush/cheney/rumsfeld go down the pan (imminent, another week or so i reckon) gore/clinton will go down the pan with them. there's no way the brits are going to be able to keep the uk side of enron quiet or how dirty money hushed up the nazi progeny of its ruling classes. the democrats are going to have to take it on the chin because they did a deal on silencing the truth about jfk/rfk assasinations. gore may be orating his head off but coverup of the truth has always been a bi-partisan matter.
bottom line: aldrich ames and bob hanssen must be in stiches by now....

If the truth is told it will happen in the UK!
