Getting past the outrage
Maybe this is just a note to myself. I am outraged daily
by what Bush Inc. does. My blood pressure goes up, my brain
tightens and middle finger extends naturally at the television.

but frankly outrage isn't going to stop this group...they
have no shame, no standards, no morals and no real respect
for this country or the Constitution.

Lawsuits, our own media and ads educating the public are the only
way to stop these guys.

Whaddathink?

1. One of our Guy James callers came up with an acronym for it
BOOS - Bush Outrage Overload Syndrome

2. Stop watching television
That would help quite a bit with the subjective responses over which we have no control. I haven't watched television news since the toppling of the statue in Bahgdad. Until the war broke out, I hadn't watched it for a year. Television news does nothing but aggravate me. It is an insult to anyone's intelligence.

6. Oh, I don't know
I get all my information about Kobe from teevee. I've been having a lot of anxiety about whether Ben and JLo are going to make a go of it, too.

:boring:

5. I dont know
what lawsuits you are considering, whatever they are they will be painted by the opposition and the media (one and the same?) as partisan or politicising the issue. Personally I think things would be a whole lot better if we could just get the media to quit addressing our issues as silly or repugnant. That to me, is the worst. The sneering of the word liberal that makes unthinking people believe we are beneath even listening to. From there we need to get at least equal time to put out our thoughts without being shouted over. I think the media attitude is our worst enemy. We have been totally discredited by the media and that needs to stop. Solutions? Got me, I have no clue how to stop this. The Fairness Doctrine in place would be nice.
