I just got a $25 dollar gift certificate to Border's, and I'm getting one of these...

Which would you recommend?

Cause you can read more Conason on Salon.com...but...if you can spring for like 10 bucks more you can get them both at Amazon.com...I think they were having a special

If you subscribe to Salon.com this week you can get Conason's book for freeand a darn good on-line magazine to boot!

10. Crap you're right I forgot about that (actually I'm already a member)
so I can't get the book but anyone else that is not can subscribe and get it...I'm proud to say I've been a member for 2 years now...I think that's actually how long they've been up too...

3. I don't think Franken's book...
is out to buy yet (although you can preorder on Buzzflash).

Big Lies - that would be my choice.

I got a notice from www.barnesandnoble.com that Franken's book will ship today. Just FYI. I haven't read either of them yet.

7. I was able to check out a copy of "Big Lies" quite easily
from the local library. Meanwhile, Franken's book has a huge waiting list.

so i decided to get franken's 'lying liars' -- the display was at the front of the store right as you walk in... lots look like they'd been bought AND they had them on sale for $17.46! (ahh, it's the small things in life)...

oh and i went ahead and bought scott ritter's 'frontier justice' - has anybody read that yet?


can't wait to start franken's! what little bit i've read is already crackin me up...
