Poll question: Who would make a good prez, or who has best chance of beating bu$h
I've seen arguments about some of us not voting for any dem that supported the war, or who are corporatists etc.

Will your vote in 2004 go to who you feel would make a good president and has the best intentions for the american people?

Or who has the best chance of beating bu$h?

I feel that the main issue here is gettin bu$h OUT!

1. Getting the Bushistas, the BFEE, and their
whole merry band of neocon criminals out of the WH and out of power is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL! ANYONE would be better!

3. Agreed
Last election, Al Gore and Bush agreed on too many issues. Dean is the most progressive politician who actually has a shot at the presidency.

6. Based on what?
at least 2 thirds of voters disagreeing with him on the biggest foreign policy decision of the last 30 years?

Him wanting to raise taxes on the middle class?

Him being the governor of a state that's arguably the most stereotypically left-wing in the nation, with the population of Denver?

I know I've said he is unelectable in the past he's not, and I'll even say he's not the least electable serious candidate, because Gephardt could probably do even worse.

However it's rediculous to proclaim him as the most electable candidate just because of your preference for him and wishful thinking

If what is probable to happen does before the election, which is slight, small growth in the economy, and a slowly rebounding stock-market, acompanied by the very likely finding of major WMD's(whether planted or not) and a more stable Iraq(not completely stable but more stable)-----------------------------------------------Dean could very well lose 50 states

I'm sorry but that is the reality when 65+ percent of voters lean away or outright disagree with a candidate on so many issues, and you are outspent 4-1 while trying NOT to lose 10 more senate seats.

7. IMHO Clark is the only one who can beat the chimp.
He's a moderate and a war hero. He'll take the military vote and most of the swing votes.
I like Dean but to Joe Sixpack he is too much of a liberal. People are still in a patriotic haze despite the failure in Iraq.
