Simple Simon drops out, backs Aww-no'd
GOP Candidate Simon Quits Calif. Recall
1 hour, 1 minute ago

By ERICA WERNER, Associated Press Writer

LOS ANGELES - Republican Bill Simon dropped out of California's gubernatorial recall race Saturday, boosting the position of GOP front-runner Arnold Schwarzenegger amid calls from party leaders to consolidate behind fewer candidates.
(-snip-)

"We want everyone to rally around and provide support for the strongest leader that we would have in this state, and that's Arnold Schwarzenegger," Rep. David Dreier (news, bio, voting record), R-Calif., told Fox News after Simon's statement. Dreier, chairman of the House Rules Committee, is a Schwarzenegger adviser.
(-snip-)

And what's this really mean, boys and girls?

It means the Republican Party doesn't really give a rat's ass about "Christian Conservatives" and the rest of those fundamentalist kooks. The Republican Party could care less about goofy Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Moore and his Ten Conmandments statue.

It means the Republican Party really only cares about one thing...
THE BOTTOM LINE!

The aim is to turn California into a privatized Hell, then carve up the rest of the country into corporate fiefdoms.

1. It's already a privatized hell.
What else could they do?

6. Yer right!
Remember, I like Arnold's movies a lot, but I wouldn't vote for him on a bet.

5. Yup.
There are other nice places in the USA. I have a soft spot for Northern Idaho and Western Montana and they need more liberals in those places.

8. Arnold had to promise to do Simon's bidding to make this happen
Arnold is not independent, he is not moderate. The fact that Simon would back him means they promised him that Arnold is just "saying whatever the voters want to hear" but he will move far right if he is able to steal this.

The fact that Simon endorsed him proves that Arnold is not what he is being sold as.

Californians should be very afraid of who is pulling Arnold's puppet strings.
