Cruz's Favorable/unfavorable rating much better than Arnold's
Ok, more good news on the California Recall. According to the LA Times if the election were held today, Cruz would beat Arnold by a solid 13-point margin--35-22 percent. McLintock attracts 12%, Ubberroth 7%, Simon 6%, Huffington 3%, Camejo 1%.

Better yet for the long term Cruz has a favorable/unfavorable rating of 48-29 percent, while Arnold's fav/unfav is 46-44. Arnold has a 15-point higher unfavorable rating than Cruz.

Latinos favor Cruz by a solid 51-13 percent over McLintock with Arnold attracting 12%.

Union members favor Cruz over Arnie 39-18 percent.

Here's hoping that the Unions will turnout and Latinos will vote in overwhelming numbers.

As you probably know, Simon dropped out of the race, but my feeling is that his conservative followers will trend towards McLintock rather than Arnie and if that happens Arnie could be challenged for second place by McLintock.

Let's hope that McLintock and Ubberroth will stick it out.

1. Huffington's aprovals were through the floor on an earlier poll
So she won't be picking up too many more from his left.

9. Didn't her campaign manager quit yesterday?
I'll look for a link...she had the same guy
who managed Ventura's campaign.

3. No. I think the Democrats will prevail.
What is bleak is that it was allowed to go this far. Californians like me are paying for this farce, not the posturers running for Guvnah.

8. yep
now if Davis can survive his recall and Cruz win on the second ballot it would be a big slap in the face at the GOP.

4. I thought I read somewhere
that most people who vote no on recalls don't go on to pick an alternative

this would hurt Dems, would it not?

I hope they get the message out that if you vote no, pick Cruz as an alternate

Is there still hope the election will be pushed to March?

7. No, there is no chance
that it will be pushed to March. It is going ahead in Oct. :-(

5. "Arnold's fav/unfav is 46-44"
He probably shouldn't have grabbed so many Californians' butts, I guess...
