Arnold's official website is still "coming soon."
http://www.joinarnold.com/

Gee, my teenage son could get a website up and running faster than the Schwarzenegger campaign. If Arnold can't even get a website together, how could he POSSIBLY run the State of California??!!!

Perhaps the work is being outsourced to India by the leading Grand Outsourcing Party candidate because he couldn't find a website developer in California who needs some work. (heavy, heavy sarcasm here)

1. I'm sure they have no shortage of competent web designers
Arnold just doesn't have anything substantive to give them! What's he going to put up, the latest publicity stills from T3?

BTW, why is Arnold posing with Skeletor?

6. Now that you mention it, that picture doesn't flatter either one,
does it?

My teenage son is actually better looking that Arnold, too. :-)

2. how lame
they managed to get the 'contribute' link up there, and a news list, but as with the rest of Auh-nold's campaign, not a shred of policy. You have to wonder how much longer people will continue to treat him as a serious candidate.

Tim Robbins for governor! ;-)

3. With inexperienced politicians, advisors make all the difference!
They told us that for Bush and they were absolutely right - his advisors have dictated policy, budget, presidential appointments, written his speeches, etc. Now with Arnie, he's turned to another actor, Rob "I am not a political advisor but I played one on TV" Lowe.

13. Lowe is the perfect advisor to the Harassinator.
Remember when he got caught secretly videotaping his sexual liaisons?

comes across as a bad sci-fi movie. Arny looks like he's playing the role in Total Recall, but as the bad McQuid (before he was brainwashed).

5. They want to write nothing specific.
Arnie is a friend of nobody. He's "pro-choice" and "pro-gay," but only because he's essentially a hedonist, not out of principle. Of course progressives oppose this power-hungry demagogue. But I can't see why any thoughtful conservative could support him. He'll sell the them out too... Our duty is to defeat this opportunist.

7. They're still translating it from the original German
But, at the rate Scheissenegger is dropping in the polls, it won't be needed in a couple more weeks.
John
I'm hoping, anyhow.

8. Interesting, in light of that Fox News memo
...about squelching the movie references: Arnie gives us a direct link to his "entertainment site," where he actually seems to have a little political content.

http://www.schwarzenegger.com/en/index.asp

They really were at a loss, though, to find a biting intro comment from their candidate, weren't they?

"There comes a time when we the people must demand more of our elected officials than just showing up." Schwarzie, June 2003 ... "Full website coming soon..."

11. Maybe the campaign is just a PR/money-making stunt
to promote his latest movie and sell t-shirts!

I wonder if Rush will have a daily countdown for "California held in suspense?" Ya think?

5. Arnie hasn't decided yet whether he's for or against tax increases.
