Sometimes the Repubs are so transparent you just have to laugh...
They were high-fiving and ya-hooing a couple of weeks ago. Arnold was going to swamp everyone in the race and they were on their way to stealing another election. They were happy as hogs in shit. They even put out a notice that Gray Davis is known for negative campaigning and to warn him against that tactic, as if to suggest that is something they would never do.

Then, the latest poll shows Bustamante is kicking the crap out of Arnold and there's only 43 days until the recall election. So what happens? David Drier, Arnold's campaign advisor, attacks Bustamante. The more desperate they become, the more they will attack Bustamante. When they mention the "n" word, we know they are in dire straits. But as they attack Bustamante, Davis continues to creep up in the polls. Oh what a tangled web we weave....

1. Their whole house of cards is tumbling
The IraqNam war lies are gonna eat their lunch. Support for this quick little fun invasion has evaporated in the face of the reality of attempting to occupy a Muslim country and every word they utter is now completely suspect.

Oh what a tangled web, indeed.

9. You forgot the one in Afghanistan.
It's hard to keep them all straight.

The last Republican invasion that succeeded was Tom Delay's invasion of Florida in 2000.

4. I have lost the ability to laugh at Republicans
whereas once I found them silly and annoying, now they are despicable and downright dangerous.

6. I can still manage it...
Whenever they pull some Phil-Gramm-like stupidity as Tom Delay regularly does, or as Rick Sans-Scrotum is known to do. They're so much into their own ideological straight-jackets they can't even realize how laughingly STOOOPID they really sound!

B-)

8. Amen to that.
The Republican Party is beginning to undermine our political stability, and scorns the precepts our country was founded on. "Republicans" do this while they congratulate each other for being patriotic and pray loudly in the public square. I think some of them actually believe that stuff.

5. Which "n" word are we talking about?
Nazi or the other one?

If these guys want to go negative, there is no one who can play that game better than Gray Davis.

Arnold may think he is what he plays in the movies, but Gray Davis would love to get a chance to "terminate" him with a massive negative ad campaign.

If they start a war, Davis can hurt Bush and Arnold.
