What Happened to the Niger Hoax?
The 9/11 Report cover up?

The Saudi/Bush connections?

Dick Cheney's secret energy meetings with Enron?

The WMD?

What the hell?

Are these just dead issues now?

God Dammit!!!

5. So True!
Man, I never really thought about it in those terms. Perhaps Rove and company believed their criminal actions were so obvious that even the fundie wackjobs might catch on. So they threw them off the scent with some "hot button" bible issues.

Insanity!

2. The Niger hoax needed a vacation.
It took July and August off. Expect a reprise in September when everyone gets back from vacation.

3. Everyone Took Responsibility
As the good, God-fearing, honest folk that they are, our leaders all took responsibility for the Niger Hoax...literally, ALL of them took responsibility!

It's vacation time in D.C. It will probably come back though everyone will probably have chilled out enough and been intimidated by the Bush administration enough that they will not remember too much about it once they get back in the Beltway.

4. Actually, I think the Nigerian yellowcake did its job during ...
it's 15 minutes of fame. Dubya's rep was injured and hasn't recovered. Now, Iraqi WMDs are a national joke. What we need is to get another story up there playing right away -- the UN bombing helped, and still has international attention, but the U.S. attention span has already been exceeded. Now, if we could get open Senate hearings on WMDgate, the stories could emerge again -- just like in Britain. One possibility is that Blair will finally succumb to Kellygate, which should refocus the media, for another 15 minutes, on WMDgate and Dubya.

7. Are the missing WMD really a national joke?
The issue is barely even mentioned anymore.

I hope I'm wrong that this issue is all but dead.

8. Damn it, Man... Don't you know???
It's ... S U M M E R ....V A C A T I O N ...

time for parties, pizza, & beer...
choppin' brush...
haulin' bales ...
beggin' for moolah...

our fearless presstitutes, are so busy fallin' all over each other for a soundbyte here and there, that they dare not mention anything "serious", lest they be totally cut off from "the man"..

They are being "punished" for the whole month of August.. No news is "good news" for the Bush gang..

When sept rolls around and the public is busily getting the kiddies off to school, there will be a whole new batch of "news".. Did we really think they were doing NOTHING , while at the ranch

Their "new product line " of news is all ready to hand oout to the eager stenographers..

</sigh>

9. The Niger Hoax lives
At the Dean rallies,
In Dennis' speeches,
On my bumpersticker,

In Parliament,
At the BBC,
And at the Washington Post website

10. I'm still convinced that the Niger Hoax will rise like a Phoenix
come SOTU time next year. There will be rumblings of "He lied last year. Can we believe anything he says this year?" He will have no credibility, and come Jan., if not before, people will remember how they were lied to.
