Heads Up: Ambassador Wilson on Nightline Tonight 8/26

Although it doesn't say anything about his appearance tonight on Nightline's webpage, I saw ABC advertising it earlier this evening.

I watched him on the Daily Show and even though he
is very articulate and bemused in a sort of way in
his delivery with Jon, you could see he was SEETHING
and ready to stick it back to Bush and especially
Cheney. He HATES THEM. Good use of your time to
watch.

The discussion turns to the White House officials who exposed his wife as a CIA agent. I don't think Wilson will allow this to die.

could tonight's Night Line - be the night? Is Rove about to be "outed" as having committed Treason?

because the investigation is ongoing, the cianess of his wife is tricky to discuss publicly, etc., but he can strongly hypothesize. Save the frog marching for KKKarl.

you notice when it is obvious that Bush* is such a fvck up with his policies, they tend to tie in Clinton with him so that Bush* can't take all the blame. I didn't realize this was the Bush/Cheney/Clinton administration!!

Koppell seemed to be raising for the sheeple the same questions we were asking as bush/blair/pnac shoved this invasion down our throats - where's the proof, where's the threat?

I thought the Wilson/kristol interview could have been much better, but all in all, a lot of things were said that needed to be said that I haven't heard said on national (non-cable) tv in some time.

I was just hoping for so much more, and NO KRISTOL!

What Ted Koppel said in closing was a keeper! Thank you Ted Koppel!

Wilson did a great job hilighting the failures of the Bush Doctrine in Iraq, Kristol appeared weak in his defense, and Koppel got it right on the mark with his closing summary.

I was impressed with the Nightline show. Could it have been better? Well, sure. But it was thoughtful dialogue in answer to some very stinging questions. If it's purpose was to make Joe Schmoe American think a little bit, I believe it fulfilled its purpose (especially with Koppel's ending).

Although, I have to admit that I laughed when Kristol said that they "need to throw more money" at the situation in Iraq. Isn't the conservative mantra that throwing more money at something is just a waste of money?

Be that as it may, I'm glad that Nightline is pursuing this course of questioning. It seems that they are the only "news" show that is spending any time asking these questions and I applaude them for it.

I JUST TURNED IT OFF. "THOU FOOL" was what I thought of him. And my only remaining TV almost bit the dust. And I couldn't believe Koppel would have this guy on.Since when is the AEI an expert on everything? THEIR THINK TANK DOESN'T THINK.

So I actually missed something? Why doesn't Koppel have one point of view per night, and when did the show go to 1/2 hour?

But he's just as bad. Kristol is a PNACer who, I think, is editor of the Weekly Standard.
