Poll question: Who will be the first candidate to drop out?
I think it will be Graham.

Some candidates, like Kucinich and Sharpton, may last longer even though they may not do well simply because they don't need the resources other candidates do. And I'm not including Clark, since he has not declared.

2. Moseley-Braun will drop out first
She's one of the last placed candidates, I think she was angling for a VP spot, but no one is picking her up. Why? I'm not sure, I think whatever scandal she had with the African dictator killed her career I suppose.

Of course, it's probably because she voted against NAFTA and GATT and the rest of the corporate trade agreements, so they had to get rid of her.

Notice that the candidates who were against NAFTA and GATT are the ones getting the least coverage - the corporate media has ignored Gephardt consistently even when he was ahead of Dean, but gave Dean lots and lots of coverage as soon as he got to Gephardt's level.

Kissing corporate ass pays off, as our front-runner have proven yet again.

3. I'm not so sure...
just read in the Globe today on lunch break that she is announcing on Sept. 22nd, and that while she doesn't have much cash (less than 250,000 in the 1st 2 quarters) she is encouraged by what people she has met along the way are saying. What I say: Drop out now, and save yourself the time of doing it later:)

4. Moseley-Braun...
...who's even heard of her? She'll do miserably in Iowa and NH and have no momentum at all for the rest of the primary.

5. I say Graham
Kucinich, Sharpton and Mosley-Braun are not serious options (no offense and their presense has added to the conversation but they have no realistic chance). Neither is Graham but he doesn't realize it yet. He will soon.
