The Bush accomplishments thread

Ok, I can't think of any. I thought if I was going to write a resume for * I could come up with a TON of negative stuff but not very much positive. Here's my negatives:

The short version of the Bush resume:

3 million lost jobs
400 billion dollar deficit (Went from largest surplus to largest deficit in two years)
2 unfinished wars (1 of which was completely pointless)
$1 billion (or more) per week in Iraq
1 dead soldier a day (or more)
Largest number of forclosures in history (2002)
In one year he destroyed ALL of the goodwill the U.S. had after 9/11.
Cut combat pay for military personnel serving in warzones.
Cut veterans funding.
Declared war on the Environmental Protection Agency. (Through a cabinet member)
Declared war on organized Labor. (Through a cabinet member)
First President ever to not meet with the NAACP even one single time (Did meet with the Congressional Black Caucus for 30 minutes once)



Lied about the WMD.
Lied about the tax cuts.
Lied about compassionate conservatism.
Lied about "leave no upper middle-class child behind"
Lied about aid to Africa (None sent as of now and likely to be a fraction of the 15 billion dollar figure he threw around in a cheap attempt at getting blacks to vote for him (Didn't work, I'm not stupid)


Oh yeah, AWOL from the NATIONAL GUARD.

More job loss than any president since Hoover.

Highest deficits of any president in history.

Worst attack on U.S. soil in history happened on his watch.

Worst blackout in U.S. history happened on his watch.

How many ex-employee shootings have happened in the last few months? five?

It changes nearly weekly, so one can't be blammed for not getting it exactly right, but the current annual deficit is forecaset to be $480 Billion.

B*sh has accomplished some things of merit in his time as Occupant, 1600 Pennsylvania.

• T-ball on the South Lawn!
  
• Doing the weekly radio address in Spanish. At least once.
  
• Boosted pretzel sales worldwide.

and damn if he hasn't held to that promise, both foreign and domestic. Gotta give the man his due!

Unless those are names for some of his pets, that statement is untrue also. Accomplishments still at zero.

Rather, Desertion of his military post IN WARTIME (the Viet Nam war officially continued into 1975). He failed to report to his duty post for a full year-- AWOL becomes desertion after 30 days!! It is a firing squad offense.

He takes reporters to his Texas ranch in the middle of August.

Also, he has probably increased business at the gas stations in Crawford.
