Someone is Breaking the Ten Commandments in two?
Many Many milllineums ago, Moses received the 10 commandments from God. However it seems Moses lingered a little bit too long with God and the people waiting at the base of the mountain for Moses to return grew restless. So Aaron, Moses' brother, gathered up all the gold in the group and they created the Golden Calf. God was disturbed by this and shushed Moses off the mountain and had him go check up on what these people were doing. When Moses returned to base camp, saw the Golden Calf and got real angry. I guess a little too angry because he broke the 10 Commandments tablet given to him from God, into 2 pieces. (See Exodus 32 for the story).

Fastfoward a couple of millineums and it's happening again - the Alabama 2.5 ton Granite 10 Commandments are being broken into 2 parts.

Was it God?

Was it Moses coming back to life??

No

Alabama state Sen. Hank Erwin said the monument, which was moved to a staff lunchroom inside the judicial building, would eventually be separated into two pieces and stored in a small press room

1. Now they
should put up a statue of Mr. Heston,

He can double as Moses and "The God Of The Guns".

2. The guy that sculpted the monument is from here in Huntsville
I think I remember hearing on local news that it was made in 2 pieces and assembled at the site.

3. Come on - you're ruining the parody of this all
They're breaking the 10 Commandments in 2.

Does that mean God will be sending a plague to Alabama? (exodus 32:35)

8. Can you say "Graven image"
With all those people praying around it, they sure look like they are worshiping the graven image.
