how people who are made to fear by George W. Bush are expected to feel safe with him in office?

1. Well,

In all fairness, most people who are afraid, aren't afraid of President Bush. They are afraid of terrorists who actually exist and have killed a certain amount of Americans.

Now I know, as many people here do, that many of President Bush's moves have actually increased the danger to Americans--and that's the message (one of many, I suppose) we need to communicate with them.

2. Wow, terrorists actually exist?

Heh, on DU I often see the word terrorists put in quotation marks, as if there aren't terrorists who kill people in the world. I can only guess the harsh reality of this fact is hard to take for some, so they would rather wear blinders on this sad reality.
