whats brewing with Bandar,Poppy and Cheney?

seen a crawl on the news last night that stated Prince Bandar was "visiting Poppy Bush" then today hes going to "visit" with Cheney in Wyoming....anyone have any print news on this???

I even checked on fox news site and can't find a item.....Is this the same guy whos wife gave money to the groups in terrorist countries?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Amid serious strains in U.S.-Saudi relations, the Saudi ambassador to Washington met former President George Bush on Wednesday and will meet Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) on Thursday, U.S. officials said.



The meetings coincide with efforts by Saudi Arabia, long a close U.S. ally and major oil supplier, to halt a slide in relations amid American concerns about links between some Saudis and attacks on the United States.


Prince Bandar bin Sultan had lunch with Bush -- father and close confidant of the current president -- in Kennebunkport, Maine, where the family has long had a vacation home.


Bush spokeswoman Jean Becker confirmed the meeting but said it was private, declining to provide further details. snip

Cheney's spokeswoman Jennifer Millerwise said Bandar would meet the vice president on Thursday in Wyoming. She gave no further details.


so, Under the Patriot Act, both Daddy Bush and Cheney are meeting with terrorists and collaborating with terrorists. Arrest them and make them stand trial under the Patriot Act!

include the name William Stamps Farish III, current shrubman at the US embassy in london, and former custodian of Big shrub's assets, (which were placed in a so called blind trust when he became veep and then pres and needed a front man to manage his personal portfolio).
Check out his esteemed geneaological lineage if unsure of his credentials! you can't imagine which us president he's actually the scion of! OK, i'll give you a clue:

good old "uncle stamps" has been the bush/blair lynchpin 'in the war against terra'. fortunately, some of us in old blighty have got his number. if you want to check out the bandar/poppy/cheney link, watch the farish space.

I posted a long thread about him and his ancestry a few months ago. My link to it no longer works since the software here changed, but here's a summary of what I wrote then:

William Stamps Farish, Sr. (1881-1942), a long-time Bush family friend, was president of Standard Oil in the 1930's. He is best known for having continued doing business with Nazi Germany even after the outbreak of World War II. (Jefferson Davis was his great-great-uncle, not a direct ancestor.)

Farish's wife, Libbie Raden Rice, was related by blood or marriage to a set of wealthy and powerful Houston families. Her father's uncle was the founder of Rice University and her mother's father was the co-founder of the lawfirm of Baker and Botts. (Rice University, Baker and Botts, and a variety of oil interests have always been closely connected -- in recent years, Enron and the Saudi royal family have featured prominently in the mix.)

William Stamps Farish, Jr. (1912-43) married Mary Wood. After he died, George and Barbara Bush were extremely close to Mary and her son, and it was the Farish connection that gave George his start in the Texas oil business. Mary's father, General Robert E. Wood, was the president of Sears, Roebuck and a consistent supporter of extreme right-wing and McCarthyite organizations and causes in the 1940's and 1950's.

William Stamps Farish III (b. 1939) inherited his grandfather's fortune at the age of four. He is both extraordinarily wealthy and extraordinarily secretive. He is said to be George H.W. Bush's "closest friend and confidante." He is also a long-time personal friend of Queen Elizabeth but has been strangely invisible to the British public while serving there as US ambassador.

His wife, Sarah Sharp, is the daughter of another close friend of the elder Bush and also a duPont heiress. Her great-uncles were funders of overtly fascist organizations in the 1930's and were behind the attempted coup against FDR in 1934 (the one foiled when General Smedley Butler refused to play along.)

If they ever met this guy in DC on public property the records of the meeting could fall under FOIA guidelines.

If it's all 'private' it never falls on the public radar screen the way four airliners did on 911.

I have had a problem with all these 'ranch' meetings before this.
It has to do with their unprecedented secrecy in governing.

How many times has Bandar met with them on private property vs. how many times has he met with them in DC? (in the last 3 years)

too do with the Air Force base closing and pulling out of saudi arabia.....also must not forget his wife was being(i bet)questioned about her donations to charities, ala terrorist groups....what was the out come of that?

Bandar has been thisclose to the BFEE for yonks. That's why he's called bandar bush - he's like a brother to them!

he did overnight at the WH on 9/10, though.....just another of those odd coincidences, mind you.

I wonder if James Baker was in Kennebunk for the meetings....maybe they were going over the dense strategy to thwart the multi-billion lawsuit that the victims' families of 9/11 have filed...and James Baker is defending the Saudi's against.
