http://www.worldnetdaily.com/letters.aspJust stopped by to read the letters since there are usually some pretty outrageous comments there, and sure enough, there was my email that I had sent the day before.

Roy Moore should be a minister, not a judge
----------
In
column, criticizes any and all "Christians" who have not rushed to Judge Roy Moore's defense in his fight to keep a Ten Commandments tablet in the Alabama Supreme Court. I am insulted by the idea that in order to be a good Christian, one has to side with Moore on this issue.
the order to remove the monument is simply the decision of an "activist judge," as if Roy Moore is not an activist judge himself. Why should anyone take Roy Moore seriously anymore? I myself am embarrassed by his behavior. If Judge Moore can defy orders by judges he disagrees with, can I do the same? Why should anyone obey an order by Judge Moore they disagree with if he won't set an example?
I strongly disagree that in this country, God's Law is more important than National Law. That is not what this country was founded on. Our founding fathers recognized that the first European settlers of this country came to escape oppression from those who forced a version of God's Law on them that they disagreed with. Many different types of religious outcasts made their way over to the New World – from Quakers to Puritans and many others. The point is, no one should be forced to agree with Roy Moore on what he believes is God's Law.
The fact that Roy Moore placed this monument in the State Supreme Court leaves the impression that the state recognizes the "Christian God," and no other. That is unfair to anyone of any other religious denomination or affiliation who has to stand before that Court and Judge Moore. Citizens of this country are free from being judged by others on the basis of religious beliefs they do not share. Roy Moore is demonstrating that he cares more about what he claims God tells him to do than what the state wants. If that is his belief, he should be a minister or priest, not a judge for the state of Alabama.
I am sure God has more important things to worry about than this silly issue.
