Who else receives a word a day from dictionary.com? I ask
because for quite some time now I've noticed that the words are ones that often describe * and his administration in general. If you're not getting this sent to you every day, you might be interested in receiving it. Here is today's word copied from my email from

dictionary.com

Word of the Day for Thursday December 9, 2004

solecism \SOL-uh-siz-uhm\, noun:
1. A nonstandard usage or grammatical construction; also, a
minor blunder in speech.
2. A breach of good manners or etiquette.
3. Any inconsistency, mistake, or impropriety.

See how this fits? Very telling. I think the people at this site might be...shhhhhhhhhh, hush....liberal??

2. I noticed that, too!
I thought it was just my warped sense of humor seeing George W. Shenanigans in normal dictionary entries!

3. This is my feckless attempt to commit ...
A non sequitur that could become a faux pas, also known as a solecism.

The more erudite amongst us will agnize my failure, while others may exhibit, or feign, insouciant reactions.
