CBS News-Kerik only "discovered" nanny problem since nominated
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 06:44 PM by karlrschneider
so just in the last 48 hours or so? Yeah, right. Of course they didn't mention the old arrest warrant, even in passing.
:grr:
edit: good grief, just now noticed I misspelled his name
:eyes:

2. Riker's Island & Kerik's charity, $1 million.

This is likelier the cause of his withdrawal. Also, I heard that the nanny left the U.S.A. just a few weeks ago. That would be odd.

3. Yeah, supposedly the nanny thing happened
while he was in Iraq and he didn' know about it until he got back. So what's the big deal? Even a White House official said he probably wouldn't have been held accountable for that. And it wasn't too late to pay the taxes on the nanny, either. So...you know it was something MUCH, MUCH bigger - even bigger than the warrant, I bet.

You know, when Rudy left office, he was the first mayor in NY history to take ALL of his papers with him instead of leaving them in the city's library. He claimed, he wanted his people to go over the papers first. Haven't heard a word about those papers since. He had plenty to cover up and Kerik was his top pitbull.

10. Their definition of "accountable"...
Seeing as how shrub sets the bar kinda low for that word, Ted Bundy probably could have gotten a job at shrub's White House.

7. Arrest warrant "discovered"
at 6 pm via the WH fax machine from Newsweek, if the below report is true. Hence the late night news of his refusing nomination???

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6697161/site/newsweek /

Kerik, who recently made millions in the private sector, once filed
for personal bankruptcy as a New York cop. And just five years ago he was in financial trouble over a condominium he owned in New Jersey.

More serious trouble than anyone realized
NEWSWEEK has discovered that a New Jersey judge in 1998 had issued an
arrest warrant as part of a convoluted series of lawsuits relating to
unpaid bills on his condo.
The magazine faxed documents, including the arrest warrant, over to
the White House around 6:00 p.m. Friday, asking for comment.

Sources close to Kerik and the White House insist the arrest warrant
was not the reason Kerik withdrew.

9. Kerik has adult children, why the Nanny?
Am I missing something here? He has little children that need a Nanny? His son Chris(?) Kerik is a news reporter at Fox and he has an Amerasian daughter some where in the world. Who's his wife and how many other children has he fathered?

16. Apparently, he married again, moved to Franklin Lakes, NJ, and started
a new family in 2001. Maybe the nanny thing didn't seem that big a deal as it's a normal social more in that affluent community.

11. By the way...
How did somebody with an open arrest warrant AND an illegal nanny AND a crooked foundation...and all his other pronblems get past the "heavy security" to the platform of the GOP convention?

How did he get past the screening process to get a contract to train Iraq's police?

(The answer is pretty obvious, no?)

12. This morning I was scanning radio stations
then I heard a puke station that was saying what a wonderful person Kerik is, it is because of the media that he refused to go ahead. The media picked on him.

God if you are not real, someone help us before it is too late.
