Army business reply cards in Blockbuster rentals?
Say it isn't so! Perhaps I need to be a little more mindful of where my dollars go, but is something as innocent as renting a film supporting the GOP now?!

1. Where did you hear that?
Or was there one in a movie you rented? I hope not. I don't want to have to boycott Blockbuster now that I'm boycotting my cable.

3. It was a recruiting 'business reply card' included in the rental
tucked in the very front of dvd.

6. Sounds just like advertising
I bet they'd put almost anything legal in there that wasn't too controversial. (No, military doesn't qualify as controversial.)

7. Oh boy.
Now what's next? Oh, I know. A draft.

Anyway, I am hoping that it was just a desperate recruiter and not Blockbuster, but even so, they would have to give the recruiter permission to do so.

4. Not at the local Blockbuster last week
and that store is half a mile from an air base.

I think some desperate recruiter did that, not the store, unless the particular store manager is an asshole. It's not a company policy.

Blockbuster will be the ONLY video store in Cincinnati, compared to probably 30 different stores 15 years ago.

8. When ever I get these kind of things
I write a note on it telling them not to send me stuff like it again and then mail it. They have to pay the postage, and maybe if it occurs enough they will get the message.

10. If you find out it's true
Put the store manager's name and the store address on it and send it in.
