Low-lifes already using the Asian tragedy to scam

The scum Nigerian scammers are already at work. If anybody doubts that this is not legitimate, the IP originates in Lagos, Nigeria. And a legit organization would not be asking for Western Union transfers.

I got an email from a reliable source asking for donations for the victims via a legitimate Islamic charity. I'm afraid to give them a donation, because I'm afraid the Bush Administration will decide since it is an Islamic charity it is offering aid to terrorists and I will be hauled into jail for supporting them.

...I think the administration's attitude from the get-go has been that these are infidels who because they have not chosen to be saved are experiencing the wrath of God. If you are going to give, then give to Christian groups who know how best to use the donated monies: "You want milk and medical supplies for the children, then accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior and be saved".

If you are fearful that your donation may be traced back to you, go to a local Islamic mosque and give a donation (cash) directly to the leaders there. Be sure to cover your face so that the FBI can't easily identify you.

You can take it to the bank that whatever money Bush finally does provide will be conditioned on multiple political and economic quid pro quos, and that Halliburton or its subsidiaries will be making historic profits off this international tragedy.
