bush's tsunami reponse: MISERABLE FAILURE again...

an unprecendented natural catastrophe.

an unprecendented opportunity for the US to rebuild it's international reputation.

an unprecendented opportunity for a belligerent 'war president' to show leadership for compassionate purposes.

an unprecendented opportunity for a globally-loathed American president to rebuild his international stature.

how much would it have taken?

how difficult would it have been to address the nation and the world?

this is a president with a mandate. he couldn't find ten minutes to rally the spirit and goodwell of the country?

can this president only but his heart and voice behind war?

we've heard him crow of vengence.

was he incapable of calling a country to compassionate action?

it matter little, the people, without the advocacy of this most 'christian' of presidents has responded.

bush* has been shamed or insulted into response.

a MISERABLE FAILURE again and as usual.

a MISERABLE FAILURE.

and a continuing embarrassment to this nation and an irritant to the world.

1. a politically incorrect question.
where will this 350 million come from?

I don't get it.

Don't we have a 5 trillion projected deficit?

Will they say, oops we have to raise poor people's taxes, eliminate medicare and medicaid and eliminate social security because you bleeding heart liberals wanted to help the brown people?

2. he's very good at promising funds
like, remember the AIDS money for Africa? never got there. oops!

as soon as the bushies figure out how to filter the funds through their corporate friends, it will start flowing.... into their hands and pockets.

the needy will be lucky to see the original $15M but remember, Africa is still waiting for that amount....

3. How about if we stop pissing money down the sewer in Iraq?
Then we could help the tsunami victims and our own people as well. But God forbid we should raise wealthy suburbanites' taxes. But anyhow, it's all for show; to prove his dick is bigger than the president of Japan's. And the Chimpinator promised a whole wad of money to the Iran earthquake victims last year, too, and they never got it. Why would we expect this illusory $350 million ever to be paid out? The relief will come mostly from private donations. Our government truly is the stingiest of all of the developed countries -- we spend less per capita on aid than any of the others. Maybe that's because Bush would rather spend it on conquering and killing. Makes him feel like the big, tough cowboy he isn't.

5. It looks like the President of Japan's dick is bigger
Japan raised its monies to $500,000 behind the Shrub's %350,000.

Gues who has the big one!

7. does Japan have a deficit?
meanwhile, people are dying of starvation and thirst in remote provinces hit by the tsunami because the media is devoting so much coverage to this pissing contest instead of pressing the aid groups to reach the remote regions.

6. He lies
First as Senator Bill Nelson said, of the original offer, "We spend more than that before breakfast every day in Iraq.

Second, NYC never got near what he promised after 9-11.

Third, He made a lot of promises of aid after Iran's devastating earthquake a year ago, and they haven't seen shit!

Fourth, Ditto on African Aids funding.

Don't forget, before he started giving tax cuts to the greediest class in our country, WE HAD A SURPLUS!!!!

9. If Clinton had been president he'd have spoken up instantly
and he would have spoken sincerely, too, without having to wait days for somebody else to figure out the right words to say. But Bush couldn't do it because he has the soul of a tapeworm and he had no idea how to act or what to say, so he just stayed out of sight at the pig farm, cutting brush (is there any left there?), and probably communing with his good pal Jack Daniels. Any one of us could have improvised a credible statement because we give a damn about what happened. But Bush couldn't do it because he obviously doesn't give a crap. I am so embarrassed and ashamed that this loser is the president of my country.

13. Clinton did speak first which was a catalyst for Bush to come out.
Then he originally donated 15 million.
World complained of his stingyness.
Bush came out with 35 million.
World still complained of small percentage and
then he showed them how tough and Generous(?) he was and
offered $335 million buckeroos!!

I applaud Clinton for taking the bull by the horns!!!

I laugh at Bush and his neocon assholes for panicking over
Clinton stepping forward, Hence showing him up from that point on.

Bottom line...............

Bush's world PR disaster is his achilles heel!!!

So sit back people and enjoy the show of tumbling neocons!!!
