NBC's Today Show is in throttle whore gear-MTP to follow
Lester Holt opened the show this morning with the following recap ~(close quote)"After a decisive election win President Bush starts the new year and a second term with a new agenda and a self proclaimed mandate, but will he be able to achieve these ambitous goals? Tim Russert will be hear to discuss President Bush's second term"
Lester:The White House has promised a full powered campaign style campaign with millions of dollars from interested parties to overhaul Social Security. Tim will it work?
Russert actually stated the obvious-retire groups are dead against it and there is no money to institute it (but plenty to campaign I guess). Russert also gave a very soft review of W's horrible handling of the tsunami relief effort.
Meet The Press (9AM Eastern) will focus on W's agenda for the full hour.
I turned on the Today Show to get information on what is going on in the world. I usually just check in to see the news headlines. This morning I saw them talking about Bush's next term. They talked about how Bush planned to rule with a mandate. After the headlines were over I turned off the show. I was wondering what was going to be on MTP.
