I am overjoyed that the Ohio electors are going to be contested but I don't think it is going to change anything.

Why didn't one senator have the spine to stand up in 2000 where there was an even more solid case to contest the electors from Florida and put the rightfully elected man in the white house?

just my 2 cents :dem:

1. My take:
I think they will chicken out. Why? Although they will find there is fraud they will state that there was not enough fraud to turn the election around.

2. "gentleman" rules
Apparently, in the Senate, it was determined that the vote would break 50/50, thereby putting Gore in the unenviable position of casting the tiebreaking vote that would put him into the Oval Office.

5. For the good of the country???
I think Al has probably regretted that decision since chimp boy has done nothing good for this country.
