Congress should debate torture in the context of illegal, unjust wars

A debate about torture wouldn't be necessary if Bush and his enablers hadn't unnecessarily invaded and occupied Iraq. Torture is a direct result of attacking Iraq without cause and in violation of domestic and international laws.

The focus of this debate should be on the lies and deceptions of the Bush Administration as they rushed this nation into a bloody, endless war that didn't need to happen.

Let's put Bush* on the hot seat for a change instead of helping to make scapegoats out of those who follow his orders.
