outlets. Your local papers and especially shows like Hardball, Inside Politics, Imus et al..... Don't let this article be ignored by the broadcast media.

If you haven't read it, the article is featured on the homepage here at DU and was posted by madfloridian.

Meyerson's charge is EXACTLY the way the Democrats need to frame Bush's character and his legacy. And we should do it en masse.

1. Bush as a drama queen.........
Funny.....

ever since he started touting his Social Security "crisi" I've been thinking along the same lines but with a little different twist.

Bush's constituency needs crisis (drama) to survive. Have you listened closely to the right wing talking heads? They are constantly haranguing their audience with the fact that they are under attack by the liberal agenda, by gays, by Hollywood (whose gossip they can't resist btw), by (gasp) HILLERY!.

They have to be fighting somebody constantly or they can't exist....they have to have drama and Bush** provides them with what they need.

9/11/01 actually happened. We all saw the towers fall. But almost everything after that has been conjured up by Bush in order to gain public support for actions he wanted to take anyway. I suspect that we'll see even his most routine speeches filled with more drama in the future as he becomes more desperate to place his permanent bootprint on our nation's history.

I think we should ridicule his drama queen performances every chance we get.

2. True, the RNC spent many years nurturing a "bunker mentality" in its ranks
"Democrats are gonna take your guns away."

"Democrats want to kill your children."

"Democrats are gonna ban the Bible."

"Democrats want gays to have sex with your children."

Ad nauseum.

4. We are all we've got. That's why I say we send the brilliant articles like
Meyerson's out to every outlet and let them know that we know.
