he/she/it borrowed heavily from previous faiths including Mithraic mythology about a saviour. There's also the shenanigans that took place at the Council of Nicea that resulted in a consensus on the divinity of Christ. It was a committee decision.

Wonder if the Council set up an appeals committee for all the marginal cases for entry to nicey-nicey land? I mean there must be a few cases that need need to be refered to a review panel. In my case I'd be asking to go to the "other place" because it is apparently warmer.

And he tries to discount human evolution based on the large variance in cranial capacity among modern humans. He is aware that the skulls are different SHAPES and the the post-cranial skeleton between anatomically modern humans and hominids are pretty different too, right?
