Sad will be the families whose child/soldier dies while the Bush's* party!
On January 20, the World will witness one of the most ostentatious events ever: the Bush* Inauguration. I wonder if they will have a minute of silence for the soldiers who are in harm's way, while they are spending 40 million dollars on themselves.

America is sick! Somewhere a soldier's family will be mourning while the drinks are being poured and the music plays.

Jimmy Carter wouldn't have done this. Bill Clinton might have, but he would have been taken to task by the media and the Republicans. Ronald Regan? Maybe. George H.W. Bush? I don't think even he would do this.

1. America is not sick. Please
don't blame this disgusting show of poor taste on all of us. Having said that, I agree. I still think the whole thing should have been cancelled and the monies directed towards soldiers who have lost their lives and their families.

4. Shrub just wants an excuse
to go on a 4 day bender, folks... it's as simple as that. He has no "compassion" or "caring" unless it is all about him taking center stage. The man is vile. (rearrange the letters and it spells E V I L )
End of rant.

9. Nothing but lip service
No doubt there will be many moments of silence and heads bowed for the troops during the activities, but as the Army Times noted in one of its editorials, it will be "nothing but lip service."
