8. Saw & heard it on C-Span
It was truly a humiliation for Bushit. The whole of Pennsylvania Ave was lined with booing patriots, and anti-Bushit signs. There was one hell of a lot of orange in the crowds too.

3. I'm glad to hear it! I refused to watch any of this BS today!
I had a fairly nice day, and I'm not about to screw it up by having shrub on my screen!

6. It was clear that there was a lot of booing on C-SPAN. It overpowered
the cheering. If MSM says the protesters weren't there, we will always have C-SPAN to show them.

10. The booing sure was louder.
Once in a while you'd hear the sound of one hand clapping, or a half-hearted cheer, but 95% of the time the only sound was booing. They tried to drown it out for a while by blabbering over a PA system, but that came out unintelligible because of the echoes, and they didn't have enough power to drown out the booing anyway.

7. I watched and didnt' hear anything like that...
He was surrounded by people who supported him. Those were the only ones allowed into the location. So, who boo'ed?

11. There were anti-* signs all along the route that C-SPAN showed
and you could hear the booing. What were you watching? I undersstand that MSM didn't show much of the protesters.

15. I just watched the speeches.
I didn't have time to watch the limo ride.

The only station I saw that had anything about protesters was CSPAN2.

18. I saw the protesters on CSPAN2 also. But the limo ride was very
noisy with boos and showed a lot of signs.

23. The limo ride was incredible.
The booing and sign waving overpowered the few embarrassed Bushit supporters. The mood in the motorcade was grim and humiliated.

12. They failed to block out the patriots, despite huge efforts.
Did you see the thousands of anti-bush signs that dominated the crowd? If you couldn't hear the booing and see the orange clothing and the signs, perhaps you were watching Faux News. They presumably would have all the trick camera angles figured out.

25. You might have thought you switched around to different channels,
but really, there's only one channel. :-) No wonder you didn't see anything to spoil the coronation. C-Span did broadcast what certainly sounded like copious amounts of booing.

20. When the motorcade got to a "protected zone"
Bush got out of the car. The stands were only open to ticket holding contributors..Up until he got to that turn in the road, he had to suffer the people's opinion of him.

13. He never heard a single boo....................
they've got him so pumped up today he's blabbering a blue streak in the Limo along with the rest of his cabal. Every event he attends is scrubbed clean of confrontation to avoid hearing what half of this country thinks of him. He'd never be allowed to hear what the rabble has to say about him. He's as sheltered as a baby in the womb of his Limo.
He still thinks all of America loves him, adores him. He's the most deluded man on Earth.

and he noticed, don't worry. He and his cabal are now trying to figure out how to stop protests altogether.

21. CNN open-mic broadcast F**k Bush over top of announcer’s voice.
Edited on Thu Jan-20-05 04:56 PM by FreeStateDemocrat
My son called and said he was watching CNN when chimp’s sideshow went by the protester’s section. CNN had a “numb head” with an open microphone standing there blathering while a leather-lunged protester repeatedly shouted over top of everyone “FUCK Bush” until they had to cut the feed off. One shining moment of democracy in action broadcast to the nation.

22. Hey Bush, We know you. Your daddy was a killer too..
I thought that chant was particularly nice and how the motorcade sped up through that area.. secret service jogged for awhile and there sure as hell seemed to be a great number of protesters.

I loved the pissed of look on Barbara's face as her baby boy got harrassed.

24. I was flipping through the MSM coverage -
thought it was kinda interesting that both George Will and David Brooks criticized the whole spectacle - said it was too militaristic and looked more like a banana Republic inauguration than the model for democracy that we're (supposedly) holding up for the world.

Once in a while even the right wing pundits have to admit the truth...
