That is incredible. I have to copy those pictures. The Peep Peeps are a brighter pink than the Bo Peeps, but they have used the same colors: pink, blue, yellow, purple.

Maybe the real Peeps will march in the next inauguration. I really must copy those two photographs.

I remember those toilet paper cozies. They did have skirts like that.

Overall, it was one hell of an inauguration. I didn't see anything of the parade other than the revolutionary costumes (made me think of revolution), but the rest of it, including George Will, just cheered me up immensely.

29. I think they're from Alabama (maybe Mobile)
While I was channel surfing this morning I briefly caught one of the US news shows and they were showing these pink, blue, green and yellow ladies standing around and some guy was explaining they were a group from Alabama (I think he said also said from Mobile, but can't remember for sure) and they were dressed in the costumes of the "antebellum south" (the antebellum south is of course the place where girls were girls, men were men and slaves were slaves) and they travelled all over the US to participate in parades (presumably to revive fond memories of the good old days of cotton picking down on the old plantation).
