NEWS AND NOTES for tonight's Majority Report:

Sam Seder makes his glorious return to the Majority Report tonight!!

Democratic California, Congresswoman Maxine Waters of the Congressional Black Caucus joins Janeane and Sam to talk about voter suppression.

Next up, author Dennis Loy Johnson and Washington correspondent for The Nation John Nichols join the cast and crew of "The Majority Report" live from Washington D.C. to talk about the presidential inauguration.

Last but definitely not least, regular guest Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor of The Nation, and Hendrick Hertzberg, senior editor and staff writer at The New Yorker, come on the show.

1. Maxine Waters on now.
She did NOT go to inauguration and was featured in Fahrenheit 9/11.
