Hook'em Horns - The Bush Family and Satanic Symbolism

The inside-out "bird" that Chimp, Botox, and the Chimplings so dearly love is hardly an invocation of the Christian God of Evil. It is the ancient sign of Cernunnos, Horned God of the Forest. The earliest known record of this gesture was discovered by archaeologists in southern France / northern Spain, and dated as a pre-christian relic. I'm not sure of the exact age and location of the find, and I'm too lazy to go look it up. Historians believe the use of the symbol was widespread in Europe during pagan times as far back as 2000+ BC.

Cernunnos was a well-loved God, and as such was attacked by Christian missionaries working to stamp out Pagan beliefs. Descriptions of Satan as horned, goat-footed, blah, blah, blah arise directly from missionaries transferring attributes of Cernunnos to those of their Evil One.

If you'll remember, Lucifer was an angel of heaven, gorgeous, asexual, that sort of stuff.

The rest of it was tacked on in a later propaganda campaign aimed at defaming the competition.
