Winner of the Right Livelihood Award (Alternative Nobel Prize) Walden Bello, one of the most articulate critics of US intervention, has been targeted along with fourteen other Filipino activists. Walden was singled out as a "counterrevolutionary" and listed alongside fourteen others, two who have been assassinated and another who has been forced into hiding. Others named in the list include prominent international activist Lidy Nacpil and Etta Rosales, head of the Human Rights Committee of the Philippine House of Representatives.
