Is there such a thing as political bulimia?

I think I have it.

Every time I go to LBN so far this year I feel like barfing. Not just an expression, but real nausea. They're killing Hubble, setting up the invasion of Iran, and the piratization of Social Security, the rape of ANWR, etc, etc...

I could stand to lose some weight, but this isn't the way I envision it happening.

One good thing is the hispanic population in my repuke town has exploded in the last couple of years, to the point where the town is only 50% white. I love it, couldn't have happened to a nicer (not) group of people. This gives me solace, everytime I see a bumper-sticker that says "This is America, speak English", I want to pull the person over and ask them "shouldn't that really be in Spanish, just so, you know, it reaches it's target audience?" But other than that, the news is nauseating.

An example of political bulimia might be the Clinton Impeachment. The idiots that tried him bingeing on righteousness, then being purged from view.

And (but), quite seriously, as messed up as this whole scene is, one might have really bad 'feelings' that, while brought up but the behaviour of the * Admin., have a lot to do with unresolved trauma junk of one's own.

So do take care if you think it might be that.

PS: I was spitting a lot during that Reagan Funeral-Fest.
