What was wrong with the L.A. protest thursday.

people bring thier own little bull horns and have thier own little protests meanwhile there is a stage set up that somebody worked very hard to pull permits for,find speakers,get P/A gear,lights,generators etc. etc. If we are going to pull this together we better pull this together.
I know we are used to going to over priced m.t.v. fests with 3 stages so no one would have to pay attention to a band that isn't thier favorite (ever question this practice ) No we don't have to be some robot tight assed republicans standing at attention and cheering on cue for our heros.
I didn't get to meet any other Duers there (we could have figured that on out) and i lost my glasses....other than that it was a great turn out even though there seemed to more police than i thought existed in L.A. but they behaved very well.

Four years ago, the Nader people pulled a coup at J20LA and turned it from an anti-Bush event into and anti-Gore rally. Scott Galendez was the one who mastermined the attacks on Gore.

A march in San Francisco a few years back became a pro Palistine fest.
My bitch with it all is this . we do this for free,the other side gets payed to fuck the world up.It makes no sence but reality seems to be going that way.
